Carey has over 20 years of sales experience and a Marketing degree from The University of Arizona, where she was the school mascot, Wilma-the-Wildcat. Carey grew up in the retail business. Her father was Director of Licensing and Trademarks for UofA and later Notre Dame. She learned retail operations, sports licensing, and the power of brands at an early age.
Before founding Pacific Brands, Carey worked in sales account management at Amazon and then at 47’ Brand, where she sold sports-licensed headwear and apparel. She achieved Salesperson of the Year in her first year for the entire company.
Carey is known for unparalleled customer service and knowledge of fabrics, color schemes, and graphic arts to ensure that her sales have outstanding sell-through. In addition, she helps her accounts achieve their goals by having a keen eye on what will sell well in various markets.
Jake started his career in information systems working for Accenture, the world’s largest consulting company. He then spent 20+ years selling Animal Health pharmaceuticals for the most prominent company and brands in Animal Health (Merial - Frontline, Heartgard, NexGard) where he achieved more sales awards than any other salesperson (330+ salespeople).
His passion has always been the outdoors with his dog, Boomer, in tow, where possible. From the bottom of the Grand Canyon to the peak of Mt. Rainier, Jake has an appreciation and knowledge of premium outdoor gear. He leverages data and processes to ensure sales targets are achieved and that customers buying our brands are successful.
